Moonrise Agency was engaged by Quality Powder Coating to enhance their digital presence through website improvements and the development of a new e-commerce platform. The project was initiated with a focus on fixing and optimizing the existing Quality Powder Coating website to improve functionality, user experience, and performance. Their goal was to launch a new eCommerce business online with do-it-yourself patio chair sling replacements.

Broken Code
Many of the pages and forms had HTML and Javacript errors. With the site being 10+ years old, browser compatibility, HTML, and Javacript code was outdated.
Develop in Shopify
I conducted a comprehensive site audit to identify issues that needed fixing. I built and developed the new website in Shopify for ease-of-use and future maintenance for QPC. Code updates and maintenance in Shopify are better for website longevity and has an intuitive admin user interface.
Outdated Design
QPC's previous website design did not align with their new branding, leading to an inconsistent visual identity that weakened their brand presence online.
Redesign in Adobe Illustrator
I redesigned QPC’s website using Adobe Illustrator, creating cohesive visual identity that aligns with their new branding and enhances their online presence.
Limited Site Architecture
The previous site structure was not optimized for QPC’s specific service offerings, leading to poor user experience, lost potential customers, and missed conversion opportunities.

Limited keyword visibility to only branded terms
QPC had strong search engine visibility for branded keywords but struggled to attract traffic from non-branded search terms. Additionally, the absence of a system to monitor and track SEO performance made it challenging to assess progress and implement necessary improvements.
Comprehensive SEO Strategy
- Conducted a Search Engine Optimization site audit to identify key areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Lost access to Google Business Profile
QPC lost access to their Google Business Profile, resulting in incorrect business information being displayed to potential customers, which negatively impacted their local SEO and online credibility.

Website Design & Development
QPC wanted their website to mirror their current marketing collateral. Their new brochure design featured navy blue bands above and below their logo, which features their name in the foreground and vibrant powder colors in the background. Their font is a sans-serif with either black or navy font color choices. Their main goal for design was to keep to their current branding based on their brochure.
Their site was developed in Shopify to for ease of access to an administrator back office so that it could be managed by an internal team member at Quality Powder Coating once the site launched.

QPC's old website had some significant site health issues that rendered a 67% site health score on SEMRush. With the newly developed site in Shopify, their site health has improved to ~93% with no errors - an improvement of 26% percentage points.

QPC's conversions (Get a quote requests) have been coming in strong, with a 5X increase in conversions during month 2 after launch when compared to month 1.

Increase in GBP interactions
Google Business Profile interactions are up 4X since the launch and have continued to show strong conversions to call or click the website link.

Content Optimization
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- Re-defined the way QPC displays their powder coating projects on their website
- Turning them into blog posts allows for more content to be written, which in turn improves search engine visibility and traffic
- Each powder coating project blog post was optimized for their targeted keywords

3D Rendering
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
- QPC's Powder Coating Catalog on their old site was contained in PDF's, which didn't help with site architecture or content availability. I created a better color catalog in separate pages for added content.
- Rather than display their color catalog in an image square, which is difficult to visibly see the color, I created 3D renderings utilizing Blender to better showcase color dynamics specific to the powder coating process.
